The bottom of our safety ruler has a soft non-slip coating for very good adhesion to glass, metal, fabric, plastic, cardboard and all other smooth surfaces. Another plus is 5cm more allowance per length. This is important when purchasing a ruler. You can cut WITHOUT DIFFERENCE with a cutter, rotary cutter or glass cutter along the steel edge of this robust aluminum ruler. The contact surface, on which you put your hand and build up pressure while cutting, is grooved. Your hand will not slip and the cutting ruler will stay where it is.
